Blue Cheese Pear Salad With Walnuts

1/4 c. canola oil
3 tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 (10 oz) bag hearts of romaine
1 pear, cored and cut into slices or chunks
1/4 c. blue cheese crumbles
3 tbsp walnut pieces, toasted

To make dressing, in a medium bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, mustard, sugar and salt.

In a large bowl, toss romaine lettuce with pear, blue cheese and dressing.
